Dana White’s Contender Series Week 9 Season 8 Predictions
em 06/10 - Atualizado há 4 mesesCheck out our analysis and predictions for Dana White’s Contender Series Week 9. This episode features two Brazilian participants.

Sean Gauci vs Anthony Drilich
Better guess: Drilich wins
Analysis: Two Australians, with a similar level of experience and facing reasonable competition. Perhaps it will be an even fight. Gauci will prefer the fight on his feet. Drilich is a knockout artist too, but he has the advantage of being able to take the fight to the ground. I wouldn’t doubt a knockout.
Islam Dulatov x Vanilto Antunes
Bet: Antunes wins
Low confidence.
Analysis: Despite his 10-1 record, the German was fighting a very questionable competition. The Brazilian, on the other hand, is a born knockout artist with an aggressive kill-or-be-killed style. And he’s already “died” a few times: twice knocked out and four times finished. But in the end, I think he’ll need just one blow to kill the fight. This one also has a good chance of not going all the way.
Mario Pinto x Lucas Camacho
Pinto’s win
Analysis: Match between unbeaten fighters. The Portuguese is 8-0 and does well in any area of the fight. The Brazilian is 6-0 and also does well in any area. I have more faith in the Portuguese, as he seems to have more gas, a height of almost two meters and a wingspan that goes beyond that. Even so, this fight has the possibility of going to a judges’ decision.
Kody Steele x Chasen Blair
Better guess: Steele wins
Analysis: I had already mentioned that Steele is different when he was going to fight Quemuel Ottoni. The American is so distinctive that the Brazilian had a nervous breakdown before the fight, which was canceled. Steele now has a new chance to enter the UFC and will face the good fighter Chasen Blair, who has never seen the full three rounds. I trust Steele’s gas and skills more, but Blair is no dead man!
Artem Vakhitov x Islem Masraf
Bet: Vakhitov wins
Analysis: The Russian has already beaten Poatan in kickboxing. He has little experience in MMA, but so does his opponent Masraf, and this athlete has put on a show against very… curious opponents. I don’t know how the Russian’s ground game is, but if he’s able to defend possible takedowns and keep the fight standing, he’ll have full advantages.
