Daniel Santos vs Jeong Yeong Lee

The Brazilian, even in the top category, fought well. He had a distinctive boxing style and threw strikes at the right time. The Korean, on the other hand, not only tired a lot, but couldn’t defend the simplest takedowns the Brazilian threw. In the end, a clear victory for Daniel Santos.

Marc-André Barriault vs Bruno Silva

The Brazilian was already in a difficult situation, but now… I think his cycle in the UFC is coming to an end. On the Canadian’s side, he’s given a new lease of life in the event.

Navajo Stirling vs. Ivan Erslan

Stirling’s second fight in the UFC and he once again performed below average. He tired a lot and was terrified in the first round by Erslan’s attacks. In the end, he won on a judges’ decision.

Very strange result. Cutelaba landed more significant blows in rounds 2 and 3, he was doing very well. Not that Bukauskas fought badly. He had his moments in the fight, but I didn’t think it was enough to win… in the end it’s like that, there are judges who seem to be watching another fight.

Jéssica Andrade x Jasmine Jasudavicius

Gosh, Jasudavicius just PUMPED Jessica. She took her down with ease, did the ground and pound and when Jessica opened up and gave up her neck, Jasmine landed the rear naked choke.

Mike Malott x Charles Radtke

Great win for the Canadian! And he didn’t even need grappling, it was all settled on the feet. Mike had already had a very good round 1, controlling the distance and hitting a lot. When it comes to the fight… he hides.

Benoit Saint-Denis vs Kyle Prepolec*

Benoit refused several fights until he accepted this one against poor Prepolec. And even then, in the first round he found nothing but a long dominance on the ground. In the second round, the two fell into pure exchanges and for a few seconds I could see the Frenchman getting into trouble… but luckily for him, Kyle was dizzy first and when the fight went to the ground, Saint-Denis managed to find the finish.

Alexa Grasso x Natália Silva

An absolute walkover from our Brazilian against Grasso. Natália’s game, which her opponents can’t decipher, claimed another victim. A lot of movement and keeping up the intensity for 15 minutes. She moves, kicks, punches, with incredible speed! Grasso couldn’t find anything either standing or on the ground. She tried two takedowns and got nothing. On the feet, the Brazilian excelled in all three rounds.

José Aldo vs Aiemann Zahabi

For me, the fight of the night! Very even and both men giving it their all in the exchanges. Aldo started better, he scared Zabahi, but I thought he got tired in the second round. On the other side, the Canadian grew into the fight and began to dominate. In the third round, Aldo found his momentum and came close to knocking him out. However, Zahabi managed to survive two almost consecutive stomps to the face! And then, the Brazilian had used up all his energy and Zahabi landed a takedown and applied a powerful ground and pound, which consolidated his victory in the round and the fight. José Aldo decided to retire at the end of the fight.

Valentina Shevchenko vs Manon Fiorot

The two delivered everything! What made all the difference was that Valentina not only won the first round, but broke Fiorot’s nose, which was bleeding for the rest of the fight. Only the Frenchwoman came close to winning. In the middle of the fight, she was able to get to the guard and control, taking advantage of her greater wingspan. But Valentina is used to five rounds and knows how to win on points. In the end, the Frenchwoman couldn’t do enough to take the belt.

Belal Muhammad vs Jack Della Maddalena

Jack Della Maddalena managed to beat Belal in detail! An even fight, back and forth, but Jack’s gas, which seemed suspect to me, didn’t let him down.
