Check out the predictions and analysis for all the fights on the card below. The predictions take into account the fighters’ current form, performance history and fighting styles.

Veronica Hardy x Brogan Walker

Better guess: Hardy wins

Analysis: Walker is 36 years old and hasn’t fought in the UFC for over 2 years. She’s a striker, but not a very impressive one. Veronica is a good fighter, knows how to win rounds and can get around in any area. If she applies MMA, with a good mix of stand-up and some takedowns, she has a good chance of winning.

Ramiz Brahimaj vs Austin Vanderford

Bet: Vanderford wins

Analysis: Brahimaj is a jiu-jitsu beast, but when it comes to standing, he has some flaws. Vanderford does well in both areas, is very aggressive, has knockout power and on the ground, has the weapons to do well.

Punahele Soriano vs Nikolay Veretennikov

Bettor’s guess: Soriano wins

Analysis: Punahele is very strong for his category and has knockout power. Veretennikov is very good on the feet, has good kicks, but his takedown defense and ground fighting are limited. If Punahele takes the fight to the ground, locks on the guard and tires Nikolay out, he has a good chance of winning.

Patchy Mix x Jakub Wikłacz

Bet: Mix win (Low confidence)

Analysis: How can you trust Patchy after that performance against Mario Bautista? Well, I’ll give him one last vote of confidence. Let’s say that performance was due to the nerves of the debut. And of course, he wasn’t fighting a dead man. Mix, in his good moments, is a good fighter and has a distinctive ground game. Jakub has a similar fighting style, has a good wingspan, but he was putting on a show in KSW… and now, in the UFC? The nerves are on his side now.

Macy Chiasson x Yana Santos

Better guess: Santos wins

Analysis: Santos has fought well in her last few performances, showing intelligence, endurance and putting in a good volume of punches. Chiasson in her last performance fought very badly, made terrible choices and was taken down several times. Macy is quite tall, but if Yana sticks to her, doesn’t give her space, it will complicate Chiasson’s life.

Ateba Gautier x Treston Vines

Playoff: win d

Analysis:

Daniel Santos x JooSang Yoo

Bet: Santos win

Analysis: It’s going to be a show of fisticuffs. Daniel, in that Chute Boxe style, always on top. The Brazilian is aggressive and has good stamina. We don’t know much about the Korean yet. He quickly dispatched Jeka Saragih, a terrible fighter, in his UFC debut. The Korean is quite strong and has knockout power. But in terms of skill set, I believe Daniel has more weapons to win.

Chris Gutierrez vs Farid Basharat

Basharat’s win

Analysis: Basharat is undefeated in MMA with 13-0. He’s a complete fighter, fast and intelligent. He has fought good fighters and won with some ease. Gutierrez is 34, but he’s been in a lot of fights, and in his last few performances, he hasn’t shown much. I think Farid will easily get past him, probably by unanimous decision.

Edmen Shahbazyan x Andre Muniz

Bet: Shahbazyan wins

Analysis: André hasn’t been putting in good performances, even when he wins. He’s slow and fights bureaucratically. Edmen starts the fight on 220v, wanting to finish in the first round. His biggest problem is gas, and yet in his last fight he showed that he can fight three rounds and still win. I think this is Edmen’s chance to put on a show.

Abus Magomedov vs Joe Pyfer

Playoff: Pyfer wins

Analysis: Pyfer is aggressive, strong and has a heavy hand, especially in the opening round. In his last performance, he showed that his gas is also up to date. Abus has shown improvement in all areas, but for this fight, I don’t think he has much to play for against the American.

Josh Emmett x Youssef Zalal

Bet: Zalal wins

Analysis: Emmett, at the age of 40, is coming off a war against Lerone Murphy, where he got beaten up a lot, not 5 months ago. And now he faces Zalal on a roll, with a 9-fight winning streak. Josh is a warrior, but given his form, his age and Youssef’s fighting style, I think the Moroccan has a good chance of winning.

Jiří Procházka vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.

Betting: Rountree Jr. to win

Analysis: Two monsters going head-to-head. I think it’s difficult for this fight to go to a decision. Jiri has a completely different style, but he shows off his chin. And to do that in front of Khalil is to sign your own death certificate. Khalil is fighting better and better, he has a heavy hand, destructive kicks and a different kind of stamina.

Merab Dvalishvili vs Cory Sandhagen

Bet: Dvalishvili wins

Analysis: Merab is in an absurd phase, has an impeccable wrestling game and infinite gas. Cory is an outstanding fighter and has a good stand-up game, but I don’t see him having the edge to stop the Georgian’s constant takedowns. The welterweight belt will remain with Merab.

Magomed Ankalaev x Alex Pereira

Bet: Pereira wins

Analysis: It will all depend on whether Poatan can defend his takedowns and get loose in the exchanges. The Brazilian is better on the feet. Of course, there’s the question of age and the “weight” of the belt”. Still, for everything he’s done, I think Poatan deserves a vote of confidence.
