Ivana Petrovic simply managed the feat of TAKING A SACODE from Juliana Miller. In the first round, the two were practically just on the fence and at the end, Ivana reacted and won the round. After that… the takedowns made the difference, even though Miller sent a card before throwing them. She won rounds 2 and 3 with ease, with ground and pound attempts and finishes.
Don’tale Mayes x Thomas Petersen

Complete domination from start to finish. Petersen took the fight to the ground with ease in every round. If he’d had a bit more urgency, he would have been able to finish the fight much earlier. In the end, a very quiet victory on the judges’ decision.
Gaston Bolaños x Quang Le

The Chinese gave an exceptional performance. Bolaños couldn’t find his feet. In the first five minutes, Le took him down and controlled him. Gaston spent a lot of energy trying to get out of position. He didn’t succeed and wore himself out. In round 2, Le came back with the same strategy, managed to get to the ground and scored the finish.
Marina Rodriguez x Gillian Robertson

Robertson has a very high fight IQ and simply retired Marina Rodriguez. It took two minutes on the feet to make the Brazilian comfortable. Then Gillian threw a takedown and took her to the ground, which is her specialty. Marina didn’t move from there. In the second round, the takedown came even earlier and after some heavy ground and pound, the referee declared the fight over.
Azamat Bekoev vs Ryan Loder

Jeremy Stephens vs Mason Jones

Stephens showed great resistance for his age, but in the end Jones’ youth, agility and takedowns made the difference. Mason took a lot of chances on the feet, but in every round he ended the same way: on top, after a good takedown.

Smotherman came into the third round with NO sense of urgency, having clearly lost both rounds. Cameron even improved a little, but he didn’t do anywhere near enough to steal the win.
Montel Jackson vs Daniel Marcos

Jackson fought a pragmatic fight. Neither tried to put on a show. They just did the basics. Montel got the distance first and landed some good jabs. Marcos looked scared. He tried to invest in grappling but didn’t find much.
Santiago Ponzinibbio vs Daniel Rodriguez

Geriatric fight on the main card. Rodriguez was almost knocked out in the first round, but eventually tired. The second round was tight, but I think the Argentine won. In the third, Santiago came in to finish the fight, but ended up taking counter punches that sent him to the ground. He went down looking lost. As soon as the referee ended the fight, he woke up and said he was “fine”… but it was clear he wasn’t.
Reinier de Ridder vs Bo Nickal

Another undefeated man goes down! Reinier took no notice of wrestler Bo Nickal. Not only did he fight on the ground, but in the second round, he got the knockout standing up, after several knees. Beautiful victory for Reinier!
Cory Sandhagen x Deiveson Figueiredo

Very strange performance from the Brazilian. In the first round, he tried to finish by catching Cory’s foot, but couldn’t and landed a lot of punches and elbows to the face. And he wouldn’t let go of the guy’s leg! He left the first round very damaged. In the second, it was almost the same, until Sandhagen got on top and Deiveson went down complaining about something. The fight was over, as Figueiredo injured his knee.
