Jamey-Lin Horth x Ivana Petrovic

Bet: Horth wins
Result: Horth wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Bad fight to start the event! A lot of gridlock and little damage. And to complicate matters, the two tired a lot from the middle of the second round onwards. Horth took a delay in the first round, but found herself afterwards, increased her aggression and tried a few finishes.

Chad Anheliger vs Cody Gibson

Bet: Gibson wins
Result: Gibson wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

A complete Gibson ball! In the rare moments when the fight was on the feet, Anheliger’s boxing looked effective, but the rest of the time, it was Cody sticking and taking down with ease. Several attempts at submissions and ground and pound. Anheliger survived on instinct! Gibson put in perhaps his best performance in the UFC.

Serhiy Sidey vs. Garrett Armfield

Bet: Armfield wins
Result: Sidey wins by split decision

Very even fight! I think the “joke” for the judges was in the second round. The first was clear for Sidey and the last was clear for Armfield. I thought Garrett hurt his opponent more, but he was in a position to be finished several times, which may have complicated his situation with the judges.

Alexandr Romanov x Rodrigo Nascimento

Bet: Nascimento wins
Result: Romanov wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

A shameful performance from Nascimento. Dominated in every round. And Romanov tired a lot in the second! Even so, Rodrigo had no sense of urgency, I don’t know where his head was, but it wasn’t in the fight. Romanov did more than enough to win.

Jack Shore x Youssef Zalal

Bet: Zalal wins
Result: Zalal wins by FINALIZATION

Shore did well at the start of the fight and looked like he was going to be a nuisance. However, right at the start of the second round, he took a knee to the face, fell dizzy and managed to finish Jack easily with a katagatame.

Charles Jourdain vs Victor Henry

Bet: Jourdain wins
Result: Jourdain wins by FINALIZATION

Jourdain had already started the fight extremely well. Faster, with more volume, and excellent movement. In the second round, Henry was using the takedown game and even tried to finish, but always left the neck for the guillotine… Jourdain made a few attempts until he managed to get it in a way that Henry had to tap quickly.

Aiemann Zahabi x Pedro Munhoz

Bet: Zahabi win
Result: Zahabi win by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Zahabi put in a dominant performance. Perhaps Pedro’s biggest advantage, which would have been the ground game, wasn’t there as Zahabi defended his takedowns with some ease. And on the feet, Aiemann hurt a lot. The Brazilian’s face at the end of the fight made it clear whose victory it was.

Mike Malott x Trevin Giles

Bet: Malott wins
Result: Malott wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Sleepy fight… And it was standing room only. Both athletes studying each other a lot. Giles’ jab was hitting Malott with some ease, but in the third round he “forgot” about it. Malott’s aggressiveness ended up making the difference. Lots of leg kicks! But look, even with the win, Malott left without any hype…

Marc-Andre Barriault vs Dustin Stoltzfus

Bet: Barriault wins
Result: Stoltzfus wins by NOCAUTE

There was no time for Barriault to get into the fight. At first, Dustin took him down and controlled him for a long time. At the end of the round, Barriault managed to get up and then it became a bar fight, which in theory would be his specialty. And even then, he landed a right uppercut and was knocked out.

Ariane da Silva x Jasmin Jasudavicius

Bet: Jasudavicius wins
Result: Jasudavicius wins by FINALIZATION

Ariane’s first round was very good, abusing punches and kicks. Unfortunately for her, but great for me, Jasmine put her wrestling to the test. She took the Brazilian down with ease in rounds 2 and 3. In the second, Ariane managed to survive. In the third, already very tired, there was no way out: she was finished with a D’arce choke.

Caio Machado vs Brendson Ribeiro

Bet: Ribeiro wins
Result: Ribeiro wins by split decision

Tough fight to score! Caio Machado moved down a category and improved a lot. He was very technical, landing kicks and landing more significant blows in every round. However, Ribeiro’s blows had more power. Even though he didn’t go down, Machado felt the punch had hurt. The whole fight was contested on the feet and whichever way it went, you couldn’t say it was a robbery.

Derrick Lewis vs Jhonata Diniz

Bet: Diniz wins

The fight fell through. Derrick Lewis missed the weight and was unwell.

Rose Namajunas vs. Erin Blanchfield

Bet: Namajunas wins
Result: Blanchfield wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

I thought Blanchfield would start fast and tire throughout the fight, handing the win to Rose. BUT IT WAS JUST THE OPPOSITE! Namajunas’ boxing started off sharp and gave Blanchfield a hard time, as she was unable to apply her wrestling. From the second round onwards, Blanchfield not only improved on the feet, but managed to use her takedowns to control and beat Rose. And from then on, it was Erin’s class. Rose tired a lot while trying to get up and ended up using up what energy she had left.

Brandon Moreno vs. Amir Albazi

Bet: Albazi wins
Result: Moreno wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Brandon Moreno came with a thirst for victory! He gave Amir no room to try anything. Even wrestling, which could have made a difference in the Iraqi’s favor, Moreno nullified! And in boxing, Brandon was razor-sharp. He destroyed the Iraqi’s face! An absurd performance from the Mexican, and he’s already close to trying for the belt again!

Final Report

Among our best guesses, Youssef Zalal and Aiemann Zahabi won their fights with ease; unfortunately, only Rose Namajunas did not emerge victorious.
