➡️ Analysis and guesses from UFC Fight Night Vegas 103: Kape vs Almabayev

Charles Johnson vs Ramazan Temirov
Bet: Johnson wins
Result: Temirov wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION
Despite his large wingspan and height advantage, Johnson found nothing against Ramazan. The first and second rounds were very clear for Temirov. The power of his punches and kicks made Charles visibly uncomfortable. Ramazan’s movement made the difference too, the guy didn’t stop for a minute! Of course, in the third round, he got tired and Johnson finally loosened up and went for it, but he couldn’t even come close to knocking him out, let alone finishing him. A capital victory for the athlete from Kazakhstan.
Montana De La Rosa x Luana Carolina
Bet: Carolina wins
No fight. Luana Carolina had problems with her weight cut.
Danny Silva x Lucas Almeida
Bet: Almeida wins
Result: Silva wins by split decision
Danny was going at a different speed. Always moving forward, landing good blows that stunned Lucas at various moments. The Brazilian was calm. Too calm, in fact. The first and second rounds were very similar in Danny’s favor, and the Brazilian didn’t let go and didn’t change his strategy, just staying in the fight on his feet. I even found the split decision strange, because I thought round 1 and 2 were quite clear for the American.
Andrea Lee x JJ Aldrich
Bet: Aldrich wins
Result: Aldrich wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION
JJ Aldrich has an extremely simple game plan. And yet Andrea Lee had no chance at all. Aldrich landed more blows, always to Lee’s face. There was even an Aldrich flashdown on Andrea. Three very even rounds. A clean win for JJ.
Douglas Silva de Andrade vs John Castaneda
Bet: Castaneda wins
There was no fight. Douglas Silva was not cleared by the medical commission.
Ricardo Ramos x Chepe Mariscal
Bet: Mariscal wins
Result: Mariscal wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION
Ramos tried to get a knockout to go viral afterwards, but in front of him was a very blurry guy with a chin that currently looks like steel. Mariscal is very aggressive and always moves forward. He drowns his opponents. In the second round, the Brazilian was clearly tired. And you can’t fight tired against Chepe. Easy win for the American!
Austen Lane x Mario Pinto
Bet: Pinto wins
Result: Pinto wins by NOCAUTE
Lane, at least in the first round, showed Mario that inside the UFC, the path is more tortuous. It even looked like Austin might win, especially when he tried to invest in wrestling. However, in the second round they both went for each other’s heads. And since Lane no longer has a chin, the Portuguese fighter landed two devastating punches that left Lane unconscious on the ground.
Danny Barlow vs Sam Patterson
Playoff: Barlow wins
Result: Patterson wins by NOCAUTE
Who would have thought that Patterson would knock out Danny Barlow? A big surprise! And look, Barlow was preparing the knockout. At the rate he was going, it would have been in the second round, because even Patterson’s movement wasn’t right, the guy kept moving in a direction that would make it easier to be hit by Barlow’s lethal left hand. However, Danny, believing that he was close to a knockout, rushed forward and landed a counter-punch to the chin. He took a few steps back, still dizzy, and Sam seized the opportunity to close the fight and knock him out.
Hyder Amil vs William Gomis
Bet: Amil win
Result: Amil win by DIVIDED DECISION
UAU!!! Amil don’t stop for a second! He was always on top, and he got dizzy at times. Even so, Hyder recovered very quickly and kept going. Gomis, used to going for the decision, didn’t rush for a knockout. On the contrary, he actually let Amil grow into the fight. Hyder’s grit is something that many fighters lack. He’s not a better striker than Gomis, but he still managed to break the Frenchman’s winning streak.
Nasrat Haqparast x Esteban Ribovics
Bet: Ribovics wins
Result: Haqparast wins by split decision
An exciting fight, with both athletes giving it their all! I saw the Argentine winning in rounds 2 and 3, where he increased the pace, had more volume and caused more damage. However, the victory for Nasrat, who put in a good performance, very safe and technical, can’t be considered a robbery.
Cody Brundage vs. Julian Marquez
Bet: No prediction
Result: Brundage wins by NOCAUTE
Who would have thought that Brundage would be in a co-main event and who would have been even crazier to say that it would be an exciting fight? Well, that’s what happened! They both gave it their all in the first round! First, Marquez was close to being knocked out, but Brundage turned it around and knocked Julian out. Do we have a new version of Brundage coming??
Manel Kape vs Asu Almabayev
Bet: Kape wins
Result: Kape wins by NOCAUTE
They tried to speed the boy up, but it wasn’t time yet! Kape was superior in every round. Although the Kazakh complained about a few jabs to the eye, they didn’t seem to define the fight. Manel was landing the better blows and preventing Asu from trying anything in wrestling. On the feet alone, Kape was flying and got the knockout in the third round.
