Guram Kutateladze x Kauê Fernandes

Bet: Kutateladze wins
Result: Fernandes wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

A superb performance from the Brazilian. He took Kutateladze’s soul little by little. Kauê kept his distance to perfection and landed a lot of kicks to Guram’s leg. Rounds 1 and 2 were very even and clear for the Brazilian. In the third, he just came out and managed it, and even so, he won easily.

Nathan Fletcher x Caolán Loughran

Bet: Fletcher wins
Result: Loughran wins by split decision

Loughran won clearly, but for God’s sake, he’s a boring fighter to watch! Average boxing, takes it to the cage, controls and takes it down. He doesn’t progress, he doesn’t use his elbows… that’s all. And as absurd as it sounds, it was enough to win. Fletcher did well in the second round, when he was more aggressive and invested in wrestling before his opponent. In the other rounds, he let the Irishman dictate the pace and got into trouble.

Shauna Bannon x Puja Tomar

Bet: Bannon wins
Result: Bannon wins by FINALIZATION

Bannon had a good strategy of keeping her distance. However, the way she chose to do it, applying only the same type of kick with her left leg, was curious to watch, to say the least… but it was working. Until, in the second round, she got hit in the face and went down. Puja went for the ground and pound to finish the fight, but in a careless way. She fell into an armbar and had to give the three slaps.

Christian Leroy Duncan vs Andrey Pulyaev

Bet: Duncan wins
Result: Duncan wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Tenacious fight! Duncan played it 100% safe. He landed a few blows and then went to the cage to hold the fight. He couldn’t get the takedown and stayed there. All the rounds were the same, only in the final ten seconds did he go on top… a horror show. Do you know why the Englishman won? Because the Russian didn’t even fight. He walked backwards the whole fight, did absolutely nothing. First time I’ve seen a shy Russian in the octagon!

Marcin Tybura vs Mick Parkin

Bet: Parkin wins
Result: Tybura wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION IN THE FINAL MATCH

The real losers were those who watched this fight. The heavyweights got tired in the second round, a total disgrace. The first round was very even, but Tybura had a takedown at the end. The second round was a walkover by Parkin, who took Marcin down and hit him a lot. He should have closed the fight there. He couldn’t, he got tired, and in the third he surrendered to the almost forty-year-old Marcin. The Englishman suffered the first defeat of his professional career.

Lone’er Kavanagh x Felipe dos Santos

Bet: Kavanagh wins
Result: Kavanagh wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

The Brazilian started very well, very aggressive, but I think he got a bit tired from the second round onwards. The Englishman grew into the fight, in the second round he took the Brazilian down and got a very strong ground and pound. In round three, they both went at it, but Kavanagh was always a little ahead. And after he got a takedown, that was all he needed.

Jai Herbert vs Chris Padilla

Bet: Padilla wins
Result: Padilla wins by split decision

Another terrible fight. Herbert was just circling, but only pulled the trigger in the third round. And Padilla, wanting to counter, waited for Jai to attack. As the attack didn’t come, the fight stayed that way. Very still, few blows. When Padilla managed to get Herbert on the fence, he was able to impose himself. But that was it. The fight is difficult to score and even worse to watch.

Nathaniel Wood x Morgan Charriere

Bet: Charriere wins
Result: Wood wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Unbeatable performance from the Englishman. Much faster, controlling the center of the ring and landing a lot of punches. Morgan, who is a good fighter, didn’t find himself in the fight and was completely dominated.

Jordan Vucenic vs Chris Duncan

Bet: Vucenic wins
Result: Duncan wins by FINALIZATION

We thought Vucenic was an athlete who would give us a hard time in the category, but… the hype has been buried now. The guy simply gave up his neck to Duncan four times during the two rounds of the fight! One day, the Scotsman was going to get it. To his credit, Duncan put in a great performance. Fast, landing good punches and whenever he could, he tried for a finish.

Molly McCann x Alexia Thainara

Bet: Thainara wins
Result: Thainara wins by FINALIZATION

Thainara accepted the fight a week in advance. Not only did she manage to finish Mccann in the first round, she retired her opponent. A show from the Brazilian who is going to be a tough out in this category. Very fast on her feet, she can get good takedowns and on the ground, which is her specialty.

Gunnar Nelson vs. Kevin Holland

Bet (Low confidence): Holland wins
Result: Holland wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

Kevin Holland, when he enters the fight focused, is difficult. He put in a great performance. He tried to finish, he tried to knock him out. Even on the bottom, he didn’t stop punching for a second. In the third round, Nelson came out more aggressive and tried some good shots, but Holland survived and secured the win on a judges’ decision.

Jan Blachowicz vs Carlos Ulberg

Bet: Ulberg wins
Result: Ulberg wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION

He won… but was he convincing? Not at all. A restrained performance from Carlos. I even saw Jan winning because of the aggressiveness he showed throughout the fight. In the end, the volume of blows made the difference for Ulberg.

Leon Edwards vs Sean Brady

Bet: Sean Brady wins
Result: Brady wins by FINALIZATION

Brady unstoppable. Complete domination for three rounds against a lackluster Edwards. The finish came in the fourth round, when Leon had completely surrendered. Brady has a game of takedowns, control on the ground and distinctive finishes. Keep an eye on him!
