Fatima Kline x Melissa Martinez

Kline controlled the center of the octagon well and already had victory in hand in the third round, if it went to the judges’ decision. But Fatima still managed to land a quick and lethal high kick. Martinez was already on another planet.
Mitch Ramirez vs Mike Davis

Davis started the fight well and won round 1 comfortably, taking Ramirez down and controlling. The problem was that this took its toll: Mike came back in the second round tired, Ramirez improved, landed some good shots.
Kennedy Nzechukwu vs Valter Walker

Valter Walker is a unique guy! What he’s been doing is incredible. Three finishes in a row, quickly and in the same way, with a heel lock. He even started off a bit clumsy, looking for the takedown straight away. Kennedy tried to keep his distance, but Valter went to the ground and underneath, it seemed to me that he wanted it, so he quickly got the position. Nzechukwu quickly made a face of pain and slapped him.
Lauren Murphy x Eduarda Moura

Result: Moura wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION
Moura started well, managed to get the takedown and impose her game, but tired. In the second round, Eduarda also won, but it was much more even. Murphy, who is over 40, was on top of her game and held on for all three rounds, scaring the Brazilian in the third with a guillotine attempt that almost caught her. In the end, the Brazilian won the decision.

Great win for Jake! He showed good fight IQ. He only exchanged enough to be able to stick to Chidi. At long range, Njokuani had the advantage. Matthews stuck, got to his back and went for the rear naked choke. He landed quickly and managed to finish in the first round.
Max Griffin vs Chris Curtis

Griffin showed excellent movement in the first round. He was much faster, more agile and imposed greater volume. However, in that game, he tired a lot. In the second round, he was already very tired. And against Chris Curtis, you can’t miss the gas. Curtis grew in rounds 2 and 3, found the distance and on the feet, with the level of boxing he has, put Griffin in his pocket. Round 2 is the one that raises doubts, because Griffin had more volume, but the most forceful punches came from Curtis.

He managed to take the big man Lane down, controlled him well, was calm enough to find the finish and managed to get the katagatame in the first round without too much difficulty.
Nate Landwehr x Morgan Charrière

A show of striking! Two masters of striking, it was clear that someone was going down. Morgan started the fight well with calf kicks, won the first round, but tired. In the second, Nate began to dominate the fight and landed more than twice as many significant blows. At the start of the third round, surprisingly, the two went toe-to-toe in the first few seconds and the Frenchman ended up doing better and obliterating Landwehr.
Calvin Kattar x Steve Garcia

Result: Garcia wins by UNANIMOUS DECISION
The only thing missing was the knockout, but it was exactly what I thought it would be. Kattar didn’t find anything, he just walked backwards the whole fight. On the other side, Garcia was dropping bombs at every moment, always looking for the knockout, with an incredible volume of blows. In the end, a comfortable victory on the judges’ scorecards.
Stephen Thompson vs Gabriel Bonfim

A more even fight than it should have been. Bonfim took his chances in the stand-up and there were moments when I thought he was going to get knocked out. Fortunately, he managed to take the fight to the ground at times, but he couldn’t develop much, which is perhaps why one judge saw Thompson winning. But overall, the Brazilian had the better shots and the takedowns were important.
Derrick Lewis vs Tallison Teixeira

Result: Lewis wins by NOCAUTE
It didn’t even last two minutes. Tallison fell for a cheap trick by Lewis, pretending he was injured, and was knocked out in shameful fashion. And the curse of Brazil in the main event continues…
