UFC Saudi Arabia predictions: Israel Adesanya vs. Nassourdine Imavov

Hamdy Abdelwahab x Jamal Pogues

Bet: Pogues win

Analysis: Hamdy has been out of action for over two years and has only 3 fights on his record, with 3 wins over BAD opponents. Pogues is not a top-level athlete, but he is tough and has gas, used to fighting every round.

Bogdan Grad x Lucas Alexander

Bet: Grad wins

Analysis: Grad has guts and prefers to fight on his feet. He’s not one of the most reliable fighters, he won the Contender in a split decision… as for the Brazilian, he’s 1-2 in the UFC, and in his last fight he was knocked out less than two minutes into the fight. But it’s a difficult fight to predict, so be careful!

Farés Ziam x Mike Davis

Bet: Ziam wins

Analysis: Tough fight! Both are on a four-fight winning streak, but I think Ziam has shown more consistency and evolution. If he can keep the fight standing, he’ll be at an advantage. Going to the ground… he could be in trouble, since he’s already been finished three times.

Terrance McKinney vs Damir Hadzovic

Bet: McKinney wins

Analysis: Wow, another difficult fight to predict! In this case, McKinney is like that: kill or be killed: he goes all out and unloads blows. Sometimes it works, other times he doesn’t. In this case, Hadzovic is a guy who takes more fights to decision, but he’s slower than Terrance and has been out of action for over two years. Because of his power and the volume of his blows, I trust the American more.

Jasmine Jasudavicius x Mayra Bueno Silva

Bet: Jasudavicius wins

Analysis: I don’t know what happened to Mayra after that fight with Holly Holm. It seems her soul has gone. No will and no gas. Now she’ll face the Canadian who is flying, is very strong and has been putting in better and better performances. Not only do I think Jasmine will win, but I wouldn’t doubt her getting past Bueno Silva, much to the chagrin of the Brazilian fans.

Abdul-Kareem Al-Sewady vs Bolaji Oki

Bet: Oki wins

Analysis: Bolaji accepted the fight a few days ago, but I trust him more for his knockout power. His weakness is ground fighting and I don’t think Al-Sewady will invest in that area. And in the standing game, with his wingspan, Oki has a better chance.

Shamil Gaziev vs Thomas Petersen

Bet: Gaziev wins

Analysis: This Shamil is pretty average, but he’ll be fighting practically “at home” and they’ve found a very easy opponent for him. Thomas Petersen is average and comes into this fight with a big height and wingspan disadvantage. I think he’ll be controlled by Gaziev and I wouldn’t doubt that he’ll be knocked out or finished.

Muhammad Naimov vs Kaan Ofli

Bet: Naimov wins

Analysis: Naimov, after his latest defeat, will come into this fight with blood in his eyes. Ofli is very good on the ground, but on his feet he’s lacking. Naimov has more tools to win, especially in the standing game.

Ikram Aliskerov vs Andre Muniz

Bet: Aliskerov wins

Analysis: It’s going to be the Russian’s toughest fight in the UFC. Andre Muniz is no roast beef. He’s an experienced fighter with a good wingspan and gas for every round. In his last fight, Ikram changed opponents at the last minute and seemed to have problems with the weight cut. If he arrives at 100% here, he has a good chance of beating the Brazilian, perhaps even with a knockout.

Said Nurmagomedov vs Vinícius Oliveira

Bet: Oliveira wins

Analysis: You can’t be scared of the Russian. He’s a good guy in all areas but he’s never fought someone as aggressive as Vinícius. And our LokDog already showed in his last fight that his takedown defense is very good. Keeping the fight on the feet, I wouldn’t doubt it bringing the first knockout for Nurmagomedov, or else, with more pressure and volume, a decision win for the Brazilian.

Sergei Pavlovich vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik

Predictor: Pavlovich wins

Analysis: Perhaps the last chance for the Russian… after a very poor performance, he needs to trust his fists again. He has the strength and all it takes is one blow. On the other side, same thing. Jairzinho has knockout power and if the fight goes the distance, it could be difficult for the Russian. Even so, I trust Sergei more.

Shara Magomedov vs Michael Page

Bet: Magomedov wins

Analysis: In a fight that will most likely be a kickboxing match, I’d bet on the younger version of Venom Page. There should be fireworks! The Russian has shown constant evolution and creativity in his punches. Page is there to put on a show, but I think he arrived late in the UFC.

Israel Adesanya vs Nassourdine Imavov

Bet: Adesanya wins

Analysis: Don’t let go of Israel just yet. If you look, in his last fight he was giving Du Plessis a kickboxing lesson, until the African found his way in and took the fight to the ground. I don’t think Imavov will have the same level of success. And just on the feet, how can you not still believe in Adesanya? Of course, we have to see what his psychological situation is like after two dramatic defeats… well, if he wants to show that he’s still at a high level, this is the perfect time.
